Dudukarma is the project of Mario Martínez, a sonic journey where the duduk - the mystical voice of Armenia - breaks away from its pasts to conquer genrers such as jazz, flamenco, electronica music...In a hypnotical live performance, Dudukarma unleashes an arsenal of ancestral instruments from the pulse of the Australian didgeridoo to the organic percussion of the Mexican donkey jawbone pussing through Indian shakers or Indonesian rainsticks.

Live Experience

A live show created in real time, where looping technology meets the purity of sacred instruments.Using a loop station, Dudukarma constructs in real-time soundscapes integrating spanish guitar and cajón flamenco, the deph of the overtone and gutural singing from Tibet and Mongolia, the pulse of the Australian didgeridoo, the organic percussion of the Mexican donkey jawbone, Tibetan bells, Indian shakers, Indonesian rainsticks, Colombian bagpipe... The result is a comtemporany global music experience: a proposal that connects ancient rituals with the vanguard of 21st century.
